57th Wedding Anniversary!!!

Late Sunday afternoon on the 15th of February a beautiful family got together to celebrate a 57th wedding anniversary at The Village Venue.

The theme for the evening was 'Twiggy', the sixties icon and the clients went to every measure possible to transform the venue into a stunning platform for an incredibly successful birthday celebration. We loved working with the clients on this one and we will remember it for a long time to come.

This 21st was great fun to put together, the theme was glow in the dark and on arrival the host gave everybody a shooter in a glow in the dark shooter glass. The guests got to keep the glasses afterwards.

9 January - 25th Birthday Party Of Note

"WHAT A PARTY THANKS!!" Waldo. Waldo and G celebrated their 25th birthdays at the venue with an all out anything goes party of note. Huge amounts of fun. We eventually had to beg them to leave as the birds started chirpping.

8th January - Ist Function Of 2009 - Stefan's 30th

Our first function of 2009. Stefan celebrated his 30th birthday party with us the day before he and his wife left for Egypt. The party was a massive success. Good luck in Egypt guys!

On the evening of the trailer trash party what the hosts did was give away a few prizes to some of the best dressed . The prizes were hillarious, a nine carrot necklace (a necklace with nine carrots dangling from it). So next time you have a function with us think about having some clever prizes. Here is a pic of the overall winner. She was a blast and as funny as you could imagine someone to be.

What a brilliant theme! Everyone took part and the end result was an explosive and entertaining event that without a doubt goes down as one of the best parties we have had here.

The Method Actors Centre had their end year function with us recently. During the evening various awards and certificates were handed out. We cooked up a storm for these guys and as a testament to how great the evening went have a look at the guestbook above.

BDO Spencer Steward had their end year function with us. The theme was a madhatters roadhouse party and on arrival we gave them the yummiest mini milkshakes (with a tot of you know what). They loved it! Keep this in mind for when you next decide to have a function with us.

Straight after we did a function for the staff of Pretoria University we had a reggae themed twenty first and it was so much fun. Calypso band and all plus we made them the most delicious tasting cocktails to go with the mood of the evening.

A Fun Function For University Of Pretoria

We had a hundred and fifty of Pretoria University staff over for their end year function. They loved it and a great time was had all round. We are one of the few venues that can cater for such large amounts and still have things run smoothly.

To Give You An Idea Of How Bonfires Look In The Evening

You just have to have a bonfire going for your party. It adds just the right effect for people to remember your party for ages to come.

SilverCreek Wednesdays

Wednesday evenings are loads of fun at the venue, like when we have SilverCreek Mountain Band playing. The atmosphere awesome and everyone has a good time. Be sure to book though as the place gets packed out pretty quickly. You could also book SilverCreek for a function.
